Details on the transfer of possession of a signed up passenger cars and bikes

In order to move possession (sale as well as purchase) of a signed up passenger car/ bike, an application has to be submitted to the Directorate for Transportation as well as Communications of the Regional Units of Greece, accompanied by the adhering to sustaining records:

The registration certificate of the automobile or motorbike.
Financial institution paper revealing deposit of the enrollment fee and transfer (μεταβιβαση αυτοκινητου) fee of the vehicle, in accordance with Articles 26 and 27 of Law 2873/2000, Federal Government Gazette, Collection I, Problem 285, which states the licence-plate number of the vehicle being transferred and also the full name of the vendor or purchaser.
The tax obligation identification number (TIN) of the purchaser.
A clear photocopy of a valid Technical Examination Certificate (DTE) from a roadworthiness examination centre (KTEO).
Certification of non-arrears of flow tax from the skilled tax office (DOY) for the period of time the vehicle was owned by the vendor.
